Supervision

My Approach as a supervisor

As a supervisor I seek to offer you the same quality of attention that over the years I have myself received from my various supervisors and mentors. I have known supervision essentially to be a learning experience, stimulating and challenging, always a journey in which I have been held with loving support. I have been offered the guidance and perspective of those who stand alongside me, able to see what may lie hidden from me, perhaps hearing what I am failing to hear, free to ask questions and to probe. At times my supervisors have given me the benefit of their skills and knowledge in offering models for understanding or for possible intervention, or in identifying possible underlying hidden currents, bringing clarity to the complex and demanding dynamics of the client-therapist relationship.
